The group’s birthday message to Osoba was contained in a statement on Monday Morning by the Publicity Secretary of the forum, Comrade Timothy Odedina

He describes Chief Osoba as a steadfast media veteran and contributor to the growth and development of Democracy in Nigeria.

They said chief Osoba leadership in Ogun State, both under diarchy and in the Fourth Republic, demonstrates his adaptability and dedication to public service. His commitment to the people’s welfare is evident in his wise and compassionate leadership.

“Baba has consistently demonstrated his commitment to principle and decorum, even in the face of provocation, during the last administration where he wisely chose to withdraw from the political fray, assuming the role of a respected kingmaker. Today, the current governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun acknowledges Aremo as a father figure, and his leadership style is distinct from that of other political godfathers. He has never imposed his preferences on state policies, projects, or selection of aides, instead allowing merit and competence to guide decision-making.

“Chief Olusegun Osoba is known for his ability to build bridges and foster unity among different groups and stakeholders. His inclusive leadership style has helped to bring youths together for the common good, promoting peace and harmony in society”

The leadership of Ogun Central youths will continue to draw inspiration from Chief Osoba’s legacy as we strive to build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria for generations to come. May Chief Olusegun Osoba be blessed with many more healthy, fulfilling years as he continues to make an indelible impact on Nigeria’s nation-building journey, he said
