Breaking: Nigerian Presidential Jet Arrives in Abuja After Release from French Detention

A newly acquired Airbus A330 aircraft intended for presidential use by the Bola Tinubu administration has landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. According to sources, the aircraft touched down on Sunday evening after departing from EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg in France.

The plane’s arrival follows its release by a French court, which had previously confiscated it in favor of Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited, a Chinese firm involved in a dispute with the Ogun State Government. The company described the release as a gesture of goodwill, citing the upcoming meeting between President Tinubu and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The Airbus A330, registered as 5N-FGA, features a luxurious interior, including a bedroom, office, conference and dining room, and airline-style seating. Its release and arrival in Abuja come after reports of its preparation in France, where it was spotted with a tail registration bearing the seal of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Details Soon.
