Achudume Visits New Ogun HoS, Commends Governor Abiodu on His Choice

The newly sworn-in Ogun State Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Kehinde Onasanya has been described as a cerebral civil servant, determined, focused, and result-driven; a man of character who believes in divine guidance, calm in outlook but firm to truth and demonstrate fairness to truth.

The Senior Pastor, Victory Life Bible Church International, Abeokuta, Apostle Lawrence Achudume stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the office of the new Head of Service at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, to congratulate him on his new appointment.
Achudume commended the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his ‘’determination to put the right people in positions of administration’’.
He said, ‘’I have known Mr. Onasanya for some years and have watched and admired his style and quality of leadership, a cerebral civil servant, determined, focused and result driven. I have seen him as a man of commitment to duty and loyalty to authority, at the same time fearless where it matters.
‘’A man of relationship, his relationship with people big, small or mighty is second to none, a friend to everyone, he is classless, does not put men in brackets to relate, a jolly good fellow, compassionate, gentle in spirit, calm in outlook but firm to truth and demonstrate fairness to truth, what and who as it matters. I rejoice with Onasanya and I must say that Ogun State is blessed to have such a man’’, the Clergy said.
Achudume noted that ‘’Nigeria and our state needs men who understand leadership and governance, men who follow the rules and speak truth where it matters. Mr. Kehinde is a man on assignment for the good of all’’, reminding him that God has brought him to the office like Queen Esther for a purpose and as Head of Service, the welfare of Civil Servants and by extension the state should be his priority.
He enjoined him to be a pillar for good governance, saying ‘’you are not Head of Service for the Christians or Muslims or other religious communities but for all. You are not for Remo, Ijebu, Yewa, or Egba people but for all in the state. Men of little minds called my religion, my tribe and this has delayed our national progress enough. We must unite if we are to be the great nation we were born to be.
Responding, the number one civil servant in the State, while applauding Governor Abiodun for being an apostle of justice, fair play, and equity, also described his appointment as a divine arrangement, through the mercy and benevolence of God, promising that fairness and objectivity would be his watchword.
‘’God has justified me as His child and I see His hands for this elevation. I’ll ensure I work in tandem with the body of Permanent Secretaries and workers, in the implementation of government policies and programs’’, Onasanya said.
He appreciated the Clergy for the visit and congratulated him on his 60th birthday celebration recently, lauding him for not being a sycophant, but rather a role model to preachers across the globe, while he coveted Apostle Achudume’s prayer for the State and the nation at large.
Achudume thereafter presented to the Head of Service his new book titled ‘The Man Helped by God’.
