Abeokuta South LG Chair, Majekodunmi Celebrates Muslim Faithful

The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi (HOAM) JP has celebrated Muslim faithful within and outside the Council Area, on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, which is the celebration of the end of Ramadan 1444A.H year in Islamic Calendar.
Hon. Majekodunmi described the celebration as a way of appreciating Allah and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.W.A) for the strength given to them to complete the 29 days of fasting in good health condition and sound minds.
He enjoined all to continue in the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, which teaches righteousness, holiness, and good behavior.
The Council Chairman encouraged the Muslims to celebrate in modesty and imbibe the good culture of the Holy Month in the discharge of their day-to-day activities. He prayed for peaceful coexistence amongst the citizens in the course of discharging their civic responsibilities as well as the security of lives and properties.
