Senator Yayi Delivers Ultramodern Police Station, Staff Quarters in Imeko-Afon
Imeko-Afon – In a significant boost to security infrastructure in Ogun West, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) has facilitated the completion and delivery of an ultramodern, fully furnished Area Command Police Station in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area.
The project, located in the international border town known as the “Celestial City” of Nigeria, was designed to strengthen policing operations, enhance public safety, and improve the welfare of police personnel.
A statement detailing the project revealed that the newly completed facility is equipped with essential operational amenities. Key components of the intervention include two units of three-bedroom bungalows to provide residential accommodation for senior police officers.
To address power challenges, the station is fitted with a 30KVA generator and a 15KVA solar inverter system to ensure reliable electricity supply. Other installations include air-conditioning systems, water supply facilities, modern furnishings, and landscaping aimed at providing a conducive working environment for officers.
The provision of residential accommodation within the facility is expected to enhance operational readiness and facilitate more effective coordination of security activities within Imeko-Afon and surrounding communities.
The project represents another significant infrastructure intervention by Senator Adeola—who is also the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 elections in Ogun State—complementing ongoing efforts to improve security and community development across the senatorial district.
The initiative aligns with the broader developmental objectives of the Ogun State Government under Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, particularly in the areas of security, infrastructure development, and improved public service delivery.
Through this project, Senator Adeola has reaffirmed his commitment to addressing critical community needs by providing infrastructure that supports effective policing and contributes to a safer environment for residents and businesses.
