Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 Appoints Advisers, Unveils Dimeji Balogun as Ambassador

The leadership of Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 has announced the appointment of four new advisers and unveiled Dimeji Balogun as an Ambassador of the movement as part of efforts to strengthen its leadership structure and expand its grassroots engagement across Ogun State.

The newly appointed advisers are Hon. Kehinde Adeniji, who will serve as Chief Adviser; Idowu Idoma Mathew, Lukman Adeola Sowemimo, and Kamor Adegbokiki, who will serve as Advisers to the movement.

According to the leadership, the appointments are aimed at bringing experienced voices and fresh perspectives into the movement’s strategic engagements as it continues to build its support base ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.

The movement said the appointees were selected in recognition of their track records in political engagement, strategic thinking, grassroots interaction and constructive leadership.

It added that their experience and capacity to develop innovative approaches to political participation would contribute to the movement’s objective of building a structured and purposeful support network for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State.

Also announced was the unveiling of Dimeji Balogun as an Ambassador of Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027.

The movement described Balogun as an active participant in its activities, particularly in the area of youth engagement and participation, saying his appointment reflects its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for young people to contribute to its activities and outreach.

As Ambassador, Balogun is expected to represent the identity and values of the movement in his engagements while contributing to its outreach among young people and other stakeholders across the state.

The leadership expressed confidence that the new appointments would further strengthen the movement as it continues to mobilise young professionals, technocrats, entrepreneurs, students and other citizens in support of its objectives.

The movement congratulated the newly appointed advisers and Ambassador, wishing them success in their respective roles and urging them to bring their experience, dedication and strategic contributions to bear on the activities of Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027.

The statements were jointly signed by Comr. Seweje Temitope, State Coordinator, and Comr. Rasheed Aroboto, Convener, Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027.
