COVID-19: Odeda LG Boss, Adeyemo, Asks Residents To Take Vaccine

In a bid to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and prevent the residents and Indigenes of Odeda Local Government from contracting the deadly virus, the Executive Chairman of the Council area, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo has urged the people of the area to avail themselves of the availability of the COVID-19 Vaccine currently being administered across Ogun State.

The Council boss made the appeal on Monday 24th January, 2022 while playing host to a delegation from the Ogun State Primary Healthcare Board led by Mrs. Adejumo-Dawodu Adebisi in her office. Hon. Adeyemo, while speaking promised to encourage the people across the local government area through the community leaders to take the vaccine.

The Chairman equally appreciated His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, the Executive Governor of Ogun State for putting the State in the fourth position on the most vaccinated state in the country. She, however remarked that the State will soon be number one considering the efforts and strategies put in place by the State government.

Speaking earlier, the leader of the advocacy team, Mrs. Adejumo-Dawodu Adebisi said that they were in the Council Area to motivate and vaccinate the residents of the Local Government.

Dignitaries at the event who also lend their voices in encouraging the people to embrace the vaccination include the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Rotimi Adeyemi, the Majority Leader, Hon. Samuel Idowu and other principal officers of the Local Government.
