Video: Another Ponzi Scheme Operator Absconds With Millions in Lagos
A word is enough for the wise. Despite series of warnings by Federal Government to the citizenry never to patronize Ponzi Scheme, many still turned deaf ears to it as another hundreds of Nigerians have fallen victims again along AIT, road, Alagbado, Lagos State.
The operator which was known as Vision Image Multipurpose Services, had last month rented a shop at Blue-Banana, bus stop along AIT road, Kollington bus stop, Alagbado, where residents in the area walked in to invest their monies ranging from N10,000 to Millions.
According to one of the victims, the investment started from N10,000, and in every week, it will attract proceeds of 3,000. I invested 50,000 with the hope of getting back 3, 000 this week, but unfortunately, I got here this morning to find out that they have absconded with our monies”.
Another victim claimed that though I was able to collect my investment, N10,000 with gain of 6, 000 for two weeks. I have not lost anything anyway.
“A young man who had invested N1,000,000 collapsed as he heard the news”, an eye-witness said.
Upon hearing the bad news that the operators were nowhere to be found, the investors thronged in early hour this morning, June 17th, 2019, to cart away what left in the shop such as Television, Photocopier, fan, laminating machine, generator and chairs.
Effort to reach the operators was to no avail as all their 6 mobile lines were switched off.
