Senator Salisu Felicitates Prof. Is-haq Oloyede on his 70th Birthday, Hails Him as a “Rare Breed, Oasis, and Beacon of Hope”

Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, representing Ogun Central Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on ICT & Cybersecurity, has congratulated Professor Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), on his 70th birthday.

In a heartfelt message, Senator Salisu described Prof. Oloyede as a “rare breed, an oasis, and a beacon of hope” who has become a synonym for integrity, patriotism, probity, and commitment to public good.

“Prof. Oloyede’s trailblazing feats and accomplishments are too numerous to enumerate,” Senator Salisu said. “As Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, he set new records and defined difficult-to-replicate standards. Under his leadership, JAMB has become a model institution for leadership and nation-building.”

Senator Salisu, who shares a common heritage with Prof. Oloyede, praised him for being a forebearer and source of inspiration, whose precepts and practice are in harmony. “As a great constituent of Ogun Central Senatorial District, I am proud to associate with him as a worthy Ambassador and contributor to the renown of the Egbas for doing common things uncommonly well.”

The Senator prayed for Prof. Oloyede’s continued good health and sound mind for many more decades of service to humanity.
