Senator Adeola Condoles APC National Chairman Over Mother’s Death

Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, has expressed his condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, following the passing of his mother, Madam Lydia Yilwatda.

In a condolence message, Senator Adeola described the death as a great personal loss to Professor Yilwatda’s family, noting that her departure is also a significant loss to Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

“There is no doubt that the family of Professor Yilwatda lost a devoted matriarch and virtuous woman whose absence will create a vacuum. More importantly, the nation lost a great woman whose wise counsel would have been invaluable to present and upcoming generations,” the senator stated.

Senator Adeola highlighted that available records attest to Madam Yilwatda’s legacy as a respected Christian and community leader who stood by her late clergy husband. He added that she lived a fulfilled life marked by accomplishments and positive contributions to society.

The senator prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and urged the immediate family to find the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
