Immediate past consultant to the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, Akindamilola Ogunpola has felicitates Aremo Olusegun Osoba at 84.
Describing the former two-term governor as a true Nationalist, Democrat and Progressive. Ogunpola noted that “Baba, you are a politician with true definition of it. You’re a Nationalist with high Democratic values and Progressive in actions. The foundations you laid when you governed Ogun state (during the military transition eras in 1992/1993 and 1999) has remained the paths successive administrations behind you has continued to follow.”
“The role you played in keeping the progressives together across the country has help in strengthening our democracy. Emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president of Nigeria is a testimony to this and several other sociopolitical advancement we are enjoying in our polity.”
Noting the fatherly role and support he has been enjoying after the transition of his late Father, Prof. Akin Ogunpola, Damochee as fondly called appreciates Akinrogun Osoba. “Aremo, you have made the pains of loosing my dad at a time I am climbing the political ladder easy. You have not ceased to listen to me and support me in my political and personal endeavors. At 84, It is my prayer that May God continue to keep you for us in good health and sound mind.”
