Ogun Pensioner Lauds Governor Abiodun for Prompt Pension Payments

Olla Olaniyi Akande, a retiree from Obafemi/Owode Local Government Education Authority, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Governor Dapo Abiodun for the timely release of monthly pension allowances.

He made this known in a WhatsApp message on Iseya Platform.

Akande, a member of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Ogun State Chapter, praised Governor Abiodun’s integrity in keeping promises made during a meeting at the Cultural Center, Kuto, Abeokuta. Specifically, Akande commended the upgrade of quarterly gratuities from ₦5 million to ₦1 billion and the recent release of ₦5.3 billion.

“Your predecessors’ failure to act similarly denied me benefits as a 2018 retiree,” Akande noted. “However, with your bold steps, I eagerly await my turn.”

Akande concluded by assuring Governor Abiodun of the pensioners’ unwavering support, saying, “God Almighty will silence your adversaries, and our Lord Jesus Christ is behind you.”

The Message reads:

“I want seek permission and indulgence of all the Admins of this group to raise my observation to our good Governor.

On behalf of Nigeria Union of Pensioners Ogun State Chapter. I sincerely want to register my appreciation and gratitude to our Amiable, Dynamic and Man of the People, His Excellency, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun *mfr*, for the timely and promptly release of our Monthly Pension Allowance which is been paid as at when due, more resently, the early release of the September Pension Allowances. I say more grease to every part of your joints.
Not only that, kindly permit me to say A BIG THANK YOU, SIR. for keeping to your Promise during one of our meetings with the Excellency at the Cultural Center, Kuto, here in Abeokuta, some years back, concerning the Quarterly and upgrading Release of our GRATITUDES from •5b. to 1billion naira, I dove my Cap for your integrity Sir. If your predecessors have been up and doing like this, myself, (2018 RETIREE), would have been a beneficiary, better still, recently, with bold Steps, (the release of 5•3 Billion) the Man of the People is taking, soonest it will soon be my turn.
Mr. Governor, you will end it well Sir. We are solidly behind you for more success in life. God almighty will silence every bit of the step, your adversaries may be taken.

Please go on with the good work and without sentiment that you are doing ,our Lord Jesus Christ, is surely behind you, Sir.
