Ogun APC Chairman Commends Odeda LG Boss over Developmental Projects
The Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Ogun state Chapter, Chief Yemi Sanusi on Tuesday commended Odeda Local Government, Transition Chairman, Alhaji {Hon} Semiu Bola Lawal SEMBOL for keying into Governor Dapo Abiodun’s genuine efforts towards developing Local government Areas.
Chief Yemi Sanusi expressed this at the Foundation stone-laying ceremony of 40 open stalls at Gbonagun market Obantoko and Locked Up Shops at Osiele markets in Odeda local government. “It gives me a great pleasure to officially lay the foundation for the construction of open stalls and lock up shops in Odo Eran, Gbonagun and Osiele Markets respectively. which means you are emulating our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Speaking further,”For Ogun people, Prince Dapo Abiodun came with the ‘Building the Future Together’ agenda has neither deviated nor dithered from exploring every avenue to attract growth and progress to the state; while he has been hands-on and virtually omnipresent in all parts of the state with laudable policies and visible projects dotting its landscape. Noteworthy also is that silently, but steadfastly, and redefining the art of governance in our dear state.
“We will not fail to acknowledge and appreciate the kind gestures of Governor Dapo Abiodun for the construction of Fajol and Alogi road in our local government, the chairman said
Earlier, in his remark, the Chairman Transition committee , Odeda Local Government, Alhaji Hon Semiu Bola Lawal appreciated the party chairman, Head of Local Govt Administration HOLGA other APC leaders for love and support for him and to the local government area.
He described the efforts put in place to empower the market women to be self reliant he added.
The completion of the projects will provide shelter in the two markets in Odeda Local government area of the state.
The local government will provide all the necessary facilities at the markets including toilets and water “The project is expected to close the gap in market shop deficit Lawal said.
The chairman said that the construction of the new shops would create jobs for the teeming market women in the LG. “In addition to this the economy of the LG will also be enhanced by providing jobs to indigines of Odeda. “ One of the cardinal policies of Prince Dapo Abiodun administration is to provide dividends of democracy through laudable projects for all. “Government will monitor the implementations of policies and programmes that will ensure sustainable development, he concluded.
Other transition committee members, party faithful and local government funtionaries were present at the ceremony.
