Odeda LG Chairman, Folasade Adeyemo Distributes Food Items, Cash To indigents
The Executive chairman of Odeda Local government, Hon. {Dr} Folasade Adeyemo has launched a Food Distribution Programme targeted at vulnerable members of the Local government.
Over 500 Vulnerable people who are widows, unemployed youth, aged women, and people living with disabilities across the 10 wards of the Local government benefited.
The atmosphere was filled with joy as the received the bags containing various food items and N10,000 each.
Hon. Folasade Adeyemo, who is fondly called IYA ALAANU in her remarks, said the food packs and the cash are aimed at relieving the burden of the less privileged people in her local government. She added that she has been championing this type of programs, and interventions before her emergence as the Chairman of the LG.the continuity have had lasting impacts on the larger number of the vulnerable within the local government.
Chairman Adeyemo highlighted her significant achievements, including the 20 lock-up shops at Kila Market and Gbondogun Market, light-up projects across Ten wards,Borehole Facilities both in Olodo and Itesi ,Opeji,Alabata ,Alagbagba , Obete wards , and other notable projects across 10 wards.
The beneficiaries applauded the council Chairman, Hon.(Dr.) Folasade Adeyemo for extending her love and kindness to the good people of Odeda local government at all times.
Dignitaries at the distribution venue include the vice chairman of the council, Hon.Nasir Adigun, the leader of the legislative council, Hon.Adeyemi Rotimi, and all other legislative council members, secretary to the local government, Mr Zaccheus Makinde, supervisors and Advisers.
Also in attendance, are the acting HOLGA, Mrs Elizabeth Solomon, and other Directors /Heads of various departments.
