Obafemi Owode LG Chairman Celebrates Democracy Day, Calls for Unity and Progress
The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, has extended warm greetings to Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day, celebrating the nation’s collective will and the enduring journey toward a more just and inclusive society.
In a statement released today, Ogunsola emphasized the significance of honouring the sacrifices of national heroes, affirming that their labour “shall not be in vain but remembered and celebrated on this occasion.”
He expressed hope for a thriving democracy, urging leaders to uphold truth and selfless service while calling for national unity, peace, and prosperity.
