NALDA Delegation Visits Odogbolu, Discusses Agricultural Development with Babatunde Diya
On October 14, 2024, Chief (Dr.) Babatunde Oyetola Diya, APC Chairmanship Candidate for Odogbolu Local Government, welcomed a delegation from the National Agricultural Lands Development Authority (NALDA) led by Engr. Segun Owolabi, Special Adviser Technical.
The delegation, which included representatives from Abuja and Ogun State, visited Odogbolu to discuss agricultural development and inspect NALDA sites. Chief Diya commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun for their support of agricultural initiatives.
The NALDA Odogbolu Chapter Chairman, Mr. Charles Odunaiya, highlighted the cooperative’s needs, including tractors, oil mills, solar boreholes, and access roads. The delegation assured their commitment to addressing these challenges, aligning with the President’s goal to tackle food insecurity and boost exports.
The visit aimed to develop the existing 600 hectares of NALDA land in Odogbolu, enhancing the economic viability of the local community and surrounding areas.
