Ipokia LG Health Authority Seeks Closer Ties with Council Chairman, Avoseh

The Ipokia Local Government Health Authority recently paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, to strengthen ties and discuss healthcare initiatives.

During the visit, Dr. Adebayo Akindele, the Health Authority Secretary, briefed the Chairman on the Authority’s operations and ongoing programs, including the recent mosquito net distribution exercise.

He expressed gratitude for the Council’s financial support for the initiative.
In response, Hon. Avoseh commended the Health Authority for its dedication to providing quality healthcare services to the community. He emphasized the importance of health and pledged his administration’s commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives.

The Chairman urged the Health Authority to intensify public awareness campaigns to educate residents about available healthcare services and programs.
He also appealed to healthcare workers to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion in their interactions with patients. Additionally, Hon. Avoseh called on banks operating within the Council Area to contribute to community development through Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

The visit was attended by key members of the Health Authority, including Mr. Durojaye Ayuba, Mr. Olaleye Olawale, Mr. Akala Taiwo, Mrs. Agboyinu.O.B, Mrs. Fagbemi Kabirat, Mr. Godonu Emmanuel, and Mr. Ajikobi Quadri.
