Odeda LG Boss, Adeyemo Commissions New Health Centre in Olugbo

In a significant development for the people of Olugbo, Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. Dr. Waliat Folasade Adeyemo, recently commissioned a new, state-of-the-art health center.

This initiative, part of her “GBAYI MANTRA” aimed at improving healthcare access, was made possible through a generous donation from the Nigerian Army, specifically Major General A.A. Adeyinka.

The newly commissioned Engineer Adisa Adeyinka Primary Health Centre is equipped with modern medical facilities, promising to deliver quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare services to the community.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by notable personalities, including the Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Daisi Olusegun Victor Elemide, and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Olayinka Elemide, who represented the Commissioner of Health. Hon. Dr. Adeyemo expressed her gratitude to Almighty Allah, the donor, and Major General Adeyinka for his kind gesture, which includes providing health care insurance to 1,000 students and indigenes of Olugbo town and its environs.

Hon. Dr. Adeyemo expressed her gratitude to the Nigerian Army and Major General Adeyinka for their significant contribution to the community’s well-being. She highlighted the importance of accessible healthcare and pledged to continue working towards improving health infrastructure in Odeda Local Government.

The local community has welcomed the new health center with enthusiasm, recognizing its potential to positively impact the health and well-being of residents.
