Ipokia LG Chairman Akohomeh Avoseh Commends Organizers of 2024 Christmas Carol Service

The Ipokia Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh (Cornerstone) has lauded the organizes of this year’s Local Government Christmas Carol Service and reading of nine (9) Lessons for a job well done.
Hon. Avoseh commended the organizers when he was delivering his welcome address during the Christmas Carol service that took place at the Local Government Chapel today, Wednesday 18th of December 2024.
Speaking further, Cornerstone desclosed he was highly impressed with the way and manner the service was organized. He equally thanked the invitees for finding time to be part of the programme.
While appreciating the Clergymen for the roles they play in our spiritual well being the Council Boss prayed that the Christmass and New year will be a season of joy for everyone.
The first lesson of the Carol service was taken from the book of Mathew chapter 1 verse 18 to 25, it was read by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Avoseh while the second lesson (Luke 2 verses 1 to 6) was read by the vice Chairman Hon. Mrs Okewole Olufunmilay other lessons were read by the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr Pogbe Emmanuel, Mrs. Elizabeth Avoseh (Chairman’s wife), Hon. Akeem Alamu Adeyonju (Hon. Leader of the Legislative Council), Departmental Heads and Internal Auditor.
In his short Sermon during the service, Reverend Gabriel Oluseun Olatunbosu, the District Pastor, the Apostolic church Ago- Egun dealt on topic “Why Did Jesus Chrst Came To This World’?
His Bible verse were taking from John 3 : 16 and John 1:12 respectively. He said that Jesus Christ came to give us a new birth, to renew our relationship with God to destroy the work of satan in our lives so as to have eternal life. Reverend Olatunbosun prayed for the Executive Chairman and the entire Work force.
Various carol songs were rendered to the delight of the guests who danced in appreciation to God for His goodness towards mankind and to see the end of the Year by the choristers.
The event was well attended by the Political Functionaries, Career Officers and the Staffers.
