Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh Resumes Office as Ipokia Local Government Chairman
The Ipokia Local Government secretariat was filled with excitement and fanfare on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, as workers welcomed the new Executive Chairman, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, also known as Cornerstone.
In his address to the staff, Hon. Avoseh expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and promised not to disappoint them. He emphasized his commitment to working with all stakeholders in the council area to drive development, ensuring that no group is left behind.
Hon. Avoseh charged the workers to re-dedicate themselves to their duties and collaborate with his administration to find solutions to the challenges facing the local government. He also assured the people of the council area that his administration would strive to meet their needs.
The Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Senapon Emmanuel Pogbe, represented by Mr. Olatunji Jelili, congratulated Hon. Avoseh on his success in the recent local government election. He prayed for God’s guidance and assured Hon. Avoseh of the workers’ unwavering support and loyalty.
Comrade Gideon Ajanaku, speaking on behalf of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ipokia Local Government chapter, congratulated Hon. Avoseh and pledged the workers’ support to his administration.
The event was attended by the Vice Chairman, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Okewole, the twelve councillors representing the twelve wards of the council area, directors, and heads of departments, as well as all staff members of Ipokia Local Government.
