APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel, Set to Unveil “Progressive Youth House”—Pledges 10 Million Votes for Tinubu in 2027

Abuja – The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Dayo Israel, is set to unveil a state-of-the-art “Progressive Youth Resource Center” in Abuja’s high-end Wuse 2 district. The facility, a legacy project of his first tenure, will serve as the operational hub for the APC National Youth Wing and a strategic base for mobilizing youth support ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The center is designed as a dynamic space to redefine youth participation in politics and governance. According to Dr. Israel, the facility will play a pivotal role in galvanizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, with a target of securing 10 million youth votes.

Key Features of the Facility Include:
– A Game Room and Social Area equipped with table tennis, snooker, and other recreational games.
– Three event spaces for youth trainings, town hall meetings, and support group activities.
– A lounge and boardroom for strategic discussions.
– A world-class multimedia suite and podcast studio for digital engagement.
– Operational offices for key youth units, including the Jagaban Army Movement, Progressive Young Farmers, Sports and Social Unit, Teens Enrichment Team, Student Engagement Division, and Female Youth Enrichment Unit.

Dr. Israel emphasized his commitment to building a youth wing capable of addressing generational challenges. *“I want to build a Youth Wing that gives a voice to the emerging generation—one that will drive transformative change across Nigeria,”* he stated.

He praised President Tinubu’s administration for its youth-focused initiatives, such as the student loan program and the PCNGI initiative, describing the president as a “Pan-African Youth Champion.”“His administration has given unprecedented opportunities to youth, and as National Youth Leader, I am motivated to aggressively mobilize for his re-election,” he added.

The project, personally conceptualized and fundraised by Dr. Israel, faced initial skepticism. “When I contested for National Youth Leader, this was part of my manifesto, but nobody wanted to support me then,” he recalled. Despite limited resources—*“no budget, no operational funds, just a one-room office at the party secretariat”*—he persevered, pooling personal funds and securing support from believers in his vision.

Dr. Israel’s international engagements in India, Ghana, China, Morocco, and the UK influenced the center’s design. *“These visits helped shape my approach to youth engagement and political empowerment,”* he noted, crediting the APC National Working Committee (NWC) and his team for their support.

The center will serve as a mobilization base for the APC’s 200,000-strong youth leadership structure, from national to polling unit levels. “Our goal is to win the hearts of Nigerian youth, expand our base, and align with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” Dr. Israel stated.

Beyond administration, the facility will foster innovation, creativity, and community among young progressives. It will also host political events, membership drives, and policy advocacy sessions to ensure youth concerns shape government decisions.

As Nigeria’s first dedicated Youth House by a political party, the center is expected to be commissioned by President Tinubu. It stands as a testament to Dr. Israel’s vision of a politically empowered, engaged, and innovative youth demographic.

The Progressive Youth House represents a bold step in redefining youth participation in Nigerian politics, setting a new standard for innovation, inclusion, and mobilization ahead of 2027.
