Chief Joju Fadairo’s Endorsement of Ladi Adebutu Poses No Threat to APC in Ibogun Ward

The recent endorsement of Hon. Ladi Adebutu by Chief Joju Fadairo has generated some noise, but a closer look at the facts reveals that it carries no political weight and poses no threat to the All Progressives Congress in Ibogun Ward.
First, Chief Fadairo’s connection to the APC in Ibogun Ward exists only on paper. Since joining the party, he has never attended a single ward meeting in Ibogun, the very ward he hails from. In truth, he does not even know where the ward secretariat is situated. Party membership is more than a name on a register—it requires presence, participation, and commitment to the grassroots. On all three counts, Chief Fadairo has been absent.
Second, his record of contribution to the APC is negligible. While the party has worked hard to build structure and mobilize support across Ogun State, Chief Fadairo has not made any meaningful input toward strengthening the APC in Ibogun Ward. Instead, he has positioned himself to benefit from every opportunity that comes through the party without giving anything back.
This pattern is evident in the appointments and nominations linked to him. Single-handedly, he has nominated a supervisor for the local government, a councillor for the ward, adviser to the local government, a ward chairman, a ward secretary, and a youth leader. Yet, none of these individuals participated in the ward congress or went through the legitimate process recognized by the party. Such actions undermine internal democracy and reduce the party to a personal patronage network. WE THEREFORE, REQUEST FOR THE SACK AND REMOVAL OF THE OFFICERS BY THE GOVERNMENT AS THEY ARE TRAITORS LIKE CHIEF JOJU FADAIRO.
Furthermore, history shows that Chief Fadairo has no electoral value in his own unit. Even while he was in the Peoples Democratic Party, the APC consistently defeated him at his polling booth. If he could not deliver his immediate environment for the PDP when he was fully active within it, it is unrealistic to expect that his current endorsement will swing votes for anyone.
What we are seeing now is an attempt to create an illusion of influence where none exists. His endorsement of Ladi Adebutu is empty symbolism, designed more for personal relevance than for any real political impact. The people of Ibogun Ward are politically aware and can distinguish between genuine party leaders who work on the ground and those who only appear when there is an opportunity to gain.
In conclusion, the APC in Ibogun Ward remains strong, united, and rooted in the people. Chief Joju Fadairo’s endorsement is neither a threat nor a setback. It is a reminder that political relevance is earned through service, consistency, and loyalty—not through opportunism and self-appointment.
In Ibogun ward, we remain focused on consolidating our grassroots base and preparing for victory, unmoved by gestures that carry no substance.
We equally want to place on record that we will deliver Ibogun ward for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola ( Yayi) and all other candidates of our great party in the 2027 general election.
