“WE’VE NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD”- Odeda LGA Residents Applaud Dapo Abiodun on Developmental Projects.
Residents of Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State, have commended the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the ongoing construction of roads and other projects, which had been a nightmare for the people of the local government.
The people who came out in their numbers as the governor paid an unscheduled visit to ongoing road construction of Fajol-Ajegunle-American Junction in Odeda Local Government praised the governor for deeming it fit to start some of his developmental projects in the Local Government Area.
Speaking earlier,the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state , Chief Yemi Sanusi, expressed appreciation for the visit by Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, his team and the support given to the Council by the Governor.
Appreciating Governor Dapo Abiodun for Fajol, Alogi and Olokemeji ongoing roads construction with standard waterways, the chairman said the projects had averted untoward hardship on road users.
Also commenting, the House of assembly representative, representing Odeda, Hon. Daisi Elemide, said Odeda local government had never had it so good.
He said that the road construction was timely, commending the Dapo Abiodun-led administration for its people friendly initiatives, which he said would bring meaningful development to the LG.
He assured that the Odeda local government which he represents will continue to work closely with the State governor in order to deliver quality services to his people.
In their separate contributions, some traders in the community, Alhaja. Adeyemo and Mr. Oyekunle Adebayo (OBA) (Youth Leader) also affirmed that the re-construction was for the progress of the community, appreciating the present government’s stride at ensuring that the dividend of democracy cut across nooks and crannies of the local government.
The Community Development Association representatives who also spoke on behalf of the people commended Prince Dapo Abiodun for his vision and policies aimed at giving rural areas a sense of belonging in his administration.
The governor who was accompanied by chief of staff, Alhaji Shuib, some commissioner designates, party leaders and other stakeholders expressed satisfaction on the pace of work on the project promising that more projects will be done in the area
