Breaking: “We won’t obey court order” ~Ladi Adebutu

The Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant for Ogun State, Oladipupo Adebutu, has said he will “prefer” not to obey court order that directed new primaries be conducted into all elective positions in the state.

Hon. Adebutu who stated this on a Channels Television program monitored by our correspondent “Hard Core” said ” though the judge has asked us to conduct fresh primaries but we don’t want fresh primaries”

The primary that threw up Adebutu as governorship candidate of the party was conducted on May 25th, 2022 at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) amid pockets of violence and allegation of using strange delegates list to conduct the primary by the party panel.

Justice Oguntoyinbo after nullifying the primaries, also ordered fresh one to be conducted within two weeks to accommodate all interests and groups.

The presiding judge, Justice O.O Oguntoyinbo in his judgement ordered the party to conduct another primaries within the next 14 days.

Aggrieved three members of the party, Taiwo Olabode Idris, Kehinde Akala and Alhaji Ayinde Monsuri had taken the PDP, Ladi Adebutu and INEC to court challenging the authenticity of the delegates’ lists used for the conduct of the primaries.
