Splash 105.5 FM had made history as the first private radio station in the West Africa’s biggest city.

One of the sources who confirmed the development to this newspaper explained that “Work is ongoing, we plan to start a test transmission towards the end of December and the frequency is 106.7. The idea is to give Abeokuta a new feel of broadcasting that they have never experienced before. So the main deal is for the people in Ogun State should anticipate a dial that is ready to take them to the next level.”
