Simi, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage others win big at AFRIMA 2017

The just concluded All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) saw a host of African stars converging at Eko Hotel & Suites

for a night of music and felicitations.

Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye popularly known as Simi, amongst others went home extremely happy. She emerged as the Songwriter of The Year at the 2017 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

The Nigerian singer won the award for her single ‘Smile’ at the ceremony which held at the Eko Convention Center, Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos. Simi later gave a thrilling performance of her hit song ‘Joromi’, as she celebrated her win

Other Nigerian singer which includes, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, 2baba Idibia, YCee, M.I. Wizkid, M.I, Tiwa Savage, Ycee, Orezi, 2Baba all got awards with Wizzy taking home winning 3 awards on the night – Song of the Year, Artist of the Year & Best West African Act (Male).
