The attention of the media office of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has been drawn to the lies being peddled by some agents of destruction, believed to be loyalists of the defeated gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state, Mr. Ladi Adebutu. that the Publicity Secretary of the Union, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya popularly known as Danku is in talks with him, in London.
Ordinarily, this would not have warranted our reaction as we know that the perpetual loser and his gullible followers are still in dilemma of how they lost an election where such humongous amount was allocated for vote buying but for the sake of our teeming followers and the general public, we’ll like to set the record straight.
1. There was and there will never be a meeting of such between the leaders of the Association and the defeated gubernatorial candidate of the PDP. It is laughable that these dissidents and their ‘daddy yo’ now believe everyone in London is there to negotiate with their desperate leader.
2. It is unfounded that as transport leaders in Ogun state who have enjoyed a robust relationship with the government and benefitted immensely for the giant strides of our performing governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, we would be found with a man struggling with his wobbling petition at the tribunal – the only cage he put his followers from dumping him this early.
3. It should be noted that on the 18th of March, 2023, during the governorship election, attempts were made by these uncouth and power drunken set of people to kidnap our Chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle. It took the intervention of security agencies to foil the attempt and caution the mastermind, Oscar Oduyebo.
4. Our Chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle and our publicity secretary, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya are best of friends and no amount of destructive measures by the shenanigans will be enough to tear them apart. The claim that one is intending to take over power from another is as baseless and senseless as the claimer.
5. We advise the pig-farmer to pay more attention to his pigs and wait for the Tribunal with which he is giving himself and his followers a false hope. Although, we know the damage that can be done to the brain due to excessive intake of alcohol and ceaseless smoking of cigarettes, however, we urge him to desist from whatever substance is making him to think everyone in London is there to negotiate with him. If he has a good case at the tribunal, it is advisable he sits back and concentrates rather than looking for more people to sink with him in his wrecked ship through false claims.
6. Is it not laughable that an individual, known to be a staunch member of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC) and the Publicity Secretary of AMORAN was alleged to have collected N50 million naira from Otunba Gbenga Daniel to deliver Sagamu Local Government ? What is N50m compared to the cordial relationship and huge benefits being enjoyed under the current administration in Ogun state ? This accusation is watery, baseless and can only emanate from people whose entire life is premised on how many bottles of hennessey you can consume in a day.
7. We implore the former commissioner, Mr. Ladi Adebutu to face his farming business and wait till 2027 or 2035 and see if the good people of the Gateway state will give him their overwhelming votes after our blessed, reliable and trustworthy governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR must have completed his second term in office.
