Ogun Young Professionals hail Senator Adeola Over His Legislative Strides

A group known as Ogun State Young Professionals Forum (OSYPF) has commended Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, popular called Yayi, for his legislative strides in the National Assembly since he became a Senator of the Federal Republic.
In a press statement issued in Abeokuta on Sunday and signed by Shomoye Adewale and Johnson Oluwatayo, chairman and Secretary of the group respectively, the body remarked that “we have been watching and monitoring the giant steps taken by Senator Solomon Adeola far, especially on the repair of Lagos Abeokuta Sango Ota Express-road, Conversion of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro to a University and the latest bill sponsored by Senator Solomon Adeola on the floor of National Assembly to include Ogun and Others among the oil producing states. “
“According to the group, the inclusion of Ogun State “ been long overdue been due, as Ogun State is largely sitting on the rich deposit of untapped crude oil and bbitumen in Ipokia, Imobi, Ajebandele in Ijebu East local government and other parts of the State”
“we also enjoin the 3 Senators in Ogun State to also lobby their Colleagues in the National Assembly in making Ogun State to be formally recognised among oil producing states in Nigeria through the enactment of the Bill which recently scaled second reading”, the statement added.
“This would no doubt put Ogun State in the fore front of employment generation, increased federal allocations and other multiplier effects s, including and high revenues in foreign exchange”they concluded
