Ogun LG Elections: Alowonle Pledges to Bring Good Governance to Sagamu
Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, a former chairman of Ogun Amoran and aspirant for the chairmanship of Sagamu Local Government, has reaffirmed his commitment to contesting the position. Addressing the IJAYA PROGRESSIVES COALITION, Alowonle emphasized that his aspiration is driven by a desire to serve the people of Sagamu and bring about positive change.




Alowonle, who acknowledged the trust placed in him by the party leadership and the people of Sagamu, promised to deliver good governance and quality dividends of democracy. He cited his reputation for integrity and accountability, assuring the audience that he would not disappoint the party and the people.
The former Amoran boss commended Hon. Onanuga Oriyomi Adewunmi Ijaya, describing her as the most outstanding federal lawmaker since the inception of Remo Fthe federal constituency. He praised her dedication and commitment to the people.
Alowonle outlined his manifesto, which includes providing accessible leadership, promoting economic development, enhancing infrastructure, supporting education and healthcare initiatives, and fostering community engagement.
His campaign slogan, “Alowonle 4 Chairman: Together we build the Sagamu of our dream,” reflects his vision for a collaborative approach to governance. Alowonle urged the party leadership and the people of Sagamu to join him in building a better future for the local government.
