Ogun Deputy Speaker may be impeached, Bello, Fasua Tipped to succeed him

The crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress APC, Ogun state chapter is about to witness it’s first casualty.
The report reaching Newsacross stated that plans are in top gear to impeach the embattled Deputy speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Dare Kadiri.
Hon. Kadiri was during the week arrested and detained by the police over allegations bordering on assault and action capable of disturbing public peace.
But is a notice of impeachment signed by 20 members out of the 26-members Assembly, Hon. Kadiri was alleged to have led thugs to invade and vandalise the residence of a former State Legislator Adebiyi Odugbesan.
A source in Eleweran who refused to give details of his charges told newsacross that the lawmaker might be unable to successfully handle the allegations, which were described as capable of destroying his political career.
In another vein, he was said to have also allegedly accused the SSG and Adegbesan of hoarding the registration materials for the ongoing APC registration and revalidation exercise in the state.
Meanwhile, as the impeachment rumor of Hon. Dare gets momentum, two prominent members of APC from Ijebu political Division of the state where the current deputy speaker emerged from.
They are Hon. Atinuke Bello, representing Odogbolu, she also doubled as Chief Whip of the House and Hon. Fasua Abayomi Johnson (Ijebu North East Local Government).
Newsacross.com gathered that the lawmakers will be meeting soon to decide on the impeachment notice and also determine who becomes next deputy speaker.
