Ogun Central APC passes vote of confidence on Abiodun

... reiterates their support for his second term in office

The Ogun Central District of the All Progressives Congress, has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Dapo Abiodun for sustaining peace and delivering on dividends of democracy in the state.

Chief Abiola Fohun , the senatorial chairman of the party in Ogun Central made this known during a stakeholders’ meeting in Daktad Hotel in Abẹokuta.

”It is a clear departure from the past in the area of physical infrastructure and other benchmarks. We commend the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration for sustaining peace and harmony in the state”, he said.

On his part, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Shuaibu Salisu said the governor, being motivated to deliver more to the people of the state citing that the peaceful co-existence between the party and the government.

Salisu said, “I wish to thank the party leadership and confirm to you that the promises we made to the people remains fresh in my memory. We thank God that the entire state and the party has agreed that this administration has done a lot.

He further enjoined the party to provide level playing ground for all aspirants and ensure the support of majority of members who are electable emerge from the primaries.

He also, commended all the Ogun Central leaders for rallying round the governor during and after local government elections.

In their goodwill messages, the former House of Representatives member, Hon. Kunke Adesina, from Abẹokuta North Local Government, Senator Olugbega Obadara and Cheif Joju Fadairo, acknowledged the governor for not relenting in his efforts to make the senatorial district and the state as a whole better than he met it and called on the party faithful and the people to continue to support the administration of Governor .
