Ogun Governor’s Wife, Mrs Abiodun Facilitates N1m Yearly Scholarship Award for Miss Alaka

In consonance with the objective of the “Renewed Hope Initiative” of Nigeria’s First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu to empower families across the 36 states of the Federation an outstanding indigene of Ogun State has been awarded a yealy National Scholarship and a laptop for her studies.

Wife of Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun nominated the recipient, Miss Olayemi Alaka who hails from Abeokuta South Local Government Area of the state, with a score of 306 in the recent Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and four A1, three B2 and one B3 in her Senior School Certificate Examination (S.S.C.E) for the scholarship award.

The beneficiary expressed her profound gratitude to the Nation’s First Lady and Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun for the gesture promising to maximize the opportunity and make the country proud.

The event was held at the Banquet hall, State House, Abuja.
