Ogun Assembly Mediates Land Dispute Between Bluestone Garden City and Arc-View Investment, Firm Apologizes to Ashimolowo

Abeokuta – The Ogun State House of Assembly has stepped in to resolve a contractual dispute between Bluestone Garden City, a firm with stakes owned by Pastor Ashimolowo, and Arc-View Investment Limited. The mediation meeting, held at the Assembly Complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, was convened by the House Committees on Lands and Housing, as well as Justice, Ethics, and Public Petitions.
The session, chaired by Hon. Damilola Soneye, brought together legal representatives of Bluestone Garden City, led by Chief Abolade Fasanu (SAN) and Barrister Dapo Opakunle, and the management of Arc-View Investment Limited, headed by its CEO, Segun Oshundairo. The Assembly emphasized the need for an amicable resolution to the contractual disagreements between the two parties.
Hon. Soneye stated that the Assembly’s primary concern is the security of lives and properties, as well as ensuring peaceful coexistence among residents. He stressed the importance of resolving the matter to prevent any potential breach of peace in the state.
During the meeting, Barrister Opakunle, representing Bluestone Garden City, outlined the challenges encountered during the transactions, including unsuccessful attempts to reach an agreement with Arc-View. He explained that the firm had no choice but to seek legal redress.
In a conciliatory move, Arc-View Investment Limited, through its CEO, Oshundairo, apologized to Pastor Ashimolowo and the representatives of Bluestone Garden City. Oshundairo described Ashimolowo as a “good friend” and expressed regret over the delays in concluding the transaction, which he acknowledged had caused distress to subscribers of his estate.
Both parties agreed to report back to the Assembly on March 27, 2025, to finalize the resolution of all issues related to the land transaction. The Assembly remains committed to ensuring a peaceful and mutually beneficial outcome for all stakeholders involved.
