Ogun ALGON Congratulates Abiodun On His Supreme Court Victory

Chairmen of the 20 Local Government areas in Ogun State, under the auspices of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), have congratulated Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun , the deputy governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele over their victory at the Supreme Court yesterday in Abuja.
The Supreme Court had Yesterday ,upheld the victory of Governor Abiodun at the March 18, 2023 governorship election and dismissed the appeal filed by Ladi Adebutu, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The council bosses led by the Chairman of ALGON in the state and who also double as Ijebu Ode local government chairman, Honorable Babtunde Emilola-Gazal described the verdict as a victory for the people of the state.
The chairmen lauded Governor Abiodun’s style of politics and approach to governance, stressing that he has shown Nigeria s that politics can be played in truth and sincerity.
“On behalf of the good people of our different local governments in Ogun state, majority of them speak well of you and say the Governor doesn’t touch local government money, we thank you.
“We want to also extol the great and dogged spirit and passion of His Excellency, for transformations continuous delivery of excellent dividends of democracy to our people across Ogun State, even in the midst of distractions and propaganda from political opponents.
“We are today re-echoing it to them all, that your building our future together agenda can never be truncated nor cut short by any of their evil antics and devices.
It’s on this note that we, this day stands as the ALGON body of Ogun State to once again declare our unalloyed hundred percent support to your good administration and transformation agenda in our dear state.
