Ogun Agric Ministry partners Chambers of Commerce, others to resuscitate Kotopo extension work Station

The Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture in conjuction with some critical business stakeholders in the state has commenced the process of resuscitating the Kotopo extension work Station.
To actualize this, the Ministry’s officials led by the Commissioner, Dr. Adeola Odedina on Wednesday 5th January 2022 were on inspection tour of the Kotopo Work Station at Odeda LGA of Ogun State, to kick off the commencement of the planned resuscitation of Agricultural facility.
Dr. Odedina said the tour was part of a strategic partnership between Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, Ogun Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA), Abeokuta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ABEOCCIMA) and Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Development Network (WEPDN)/ECOWAS Federation of Business Women Entrepreneurs (ECOWAS FEBWE-Nigeria).
Odedina said “Ogun State Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture, will continue to support private sector players in Agricultural value chain activities, including provision of linkage, training and advisory services.
Also in attendance at the strategic partnership tour was,ABEOCCIMA Vice President, Mr Ibrahim Bada; Ogun State Coordinator of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Development Network (WEPDN), Mrs Dorcas James; Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Dotun Sorunke; Director of Agricultural Services, Mrs Josephine Shodiya-Soetan; Director of Planning, Research and Statistics, Mr. Suraj Fashola, among others.
