Obafemi-Owode Chairmanship Hopeful, Ibrahim Badmos, Screens for Apex Leaders’ Endorsement

Ahead of the forthcoming local government election in Ogun State, Ibrahim Oladipupo Badmos, a leading aspirant for the chairmanship position of Obafemi-Owode Local Government, has undergone the Apex Leaders’ screening exercise. The screening, conducted by influential stakeholders within the party, aimed to assess the suitability and preparedness of aspirants vying for various positions.


Badmos, who has been engaging with stakeholders and residents, expressed confidence in his ability to deliver quality leadership and drive development in the area. The outcome of the screening is expected to be announced on Wednesday.

Earlier, Badmos formally declared his intention to contest for the chairmanship position at the APC secretariat in Oba Ward 7, where he was praised by party leaders for his commitment to excellence. At the local government chairmanship screening, he outlined his vision for Obafemi-Owode’s development, promising to revolutionize agriculture, transform governance, and improve rural and urban centres.
