NO VACANCY FOR APM HERE-IFO APC

The All Progressive Congress ( APC ) Party, Ifo local government chapter yesterday declared that there’s no vacancy for Allied Progressives Movement(APM) in the local government and the state at large.
Olukunle Oluomo , the present deputy speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly and other party chieftains have stated that APM is day-dreaming if the party thinks there’s vacancy in Ifo.
Oluomo described how his relationship went sour with the governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun when the later was trying to impose candidates in his constituency to which he objected to the idea.
Oluomo who spoke in his native language, Yoruba said “ I told the governor that all his oligarchy actions will bear consequences…..see where we are now?” he stated.
On his part, Hon Isiaka Ibraheem, MHR Ifo/Ewekoro federal Constituency assured members of the readiness of the party hierarchy to ensure a victory laden campaign.
Hon. Isiaka also used the avenue to highlight number of works he has done, which includes the sango -Abeokuta express road he facilitated and which work is on going presently. He also said he has collaborated with six communities in ifo to provide transformers for electrification purposes.
Hon Fola Salami( Agbara Ifo) Candidate representing Ifo II Constituency while giving his own speech thanked the state National leader, Chief Olusegun Osoba for being a father to all party members.
Agbara Ifo reiterated how APC is readying for the coming elections and how the leadership of the party isn’t leaving anything for granted. He told party members present at the meeting how Dapo Abiodun will bring about more jobs and rural development across the state.
“Dapo Abiodun will ensure all members of the party and the entire Ogun State people enjoy the real dividends of democracy by creating more jobs and intensive rural development across the state” Agbara Ifo stated. He told party members to stay steadfast with APC as APM can’t take the state to the next level.
APM, a party that broke away from APC after the primary election also fielded candidates for all elective posts in the state for the coming 2019 elections.
Meanwhile, about 5000 people defected from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to All Progressive Congress (APC ) from various wards across the local government at the meeting yesterday.
Hon Mustapha who led other defectors pledged their unalloyed support for APC and all candidates contesting under the umbrella of the party.
Other party chieftains at the event includes; Baba Adebeshin, Alhaji Teriba, Mrs Kikelomo Delano, Chief Mrs Olabiran , Alhaji Tairu, Hon Ismailia Oyebola, Chief Fagbola, Chief Mrs Yussuf, comrade Kayode Adebayo , Chief Pelemo, Chief Elefonde, Chief Mrs Osifo, mama Amala, Hon Sunday Adebowale, Mrs Cecelia Jolaade amongst others.
