Mapoly Chapter (Ilya Olumo) of the Supreme Kegite Club international held an anti-drug, rape and cultism campaign for the first time at the school premises on the 2nd of August 2019, drawing tenths of participants within the club.
The campaign organized by Ilya Olumo Eldersis aimed at creating better awareness against social vices and to keep the public away from drugs, rape and cultism.
Drug addiction, rape and cultism is fast becoming a major problem among teenagers. The problem arises among the youth because of a feeling of inadequacy. Our society and state both need to take solid steps to prevent these vices.
When enough of us care to change what goes on in our homes, schools and offices, what we watch on television and what we put up with on our streets – that’s when the country’s and our children’s future will be strengthened.
Many youths had cut short their dreams by getting involved in such vices. Some of the vices could lead to serious health disorder, including cancer, while others unleash negative effects such as acute panic reaction, anxiety attacks, fear and loss of self-control.
No excuse can justify ones indulgence in those vices. No matter the peer pressure, emotional challenge or psychology issues one may be facing, Kegite Club international admonished you to say no to Drugs, Rape, Cultism and other vices.
