The All Progressive Congress in Ijebu North Local Government flagged off the campaign of the Chairmanship candidate of the party, Hon. Omobolaji Oluwaseun Odusanya ahead of the 2021 Local Government elections coming up on the 24th July, 2021.
In preparation for the election, all efforts and machinaries are in place to record victory in the coming election in the local government by the candidate of the party as the campaign was flagged today at the popular Obada Motor Parks, Ijebu Igbo.
The event was witnessed by the large turn out of party faithfuls, well wishers, associates, friends and families of the party candidates; the Chairman, Vice Chairman and other Councillors across the Elevem wards in the local government areas.
In his speech, the Director General of Campaign in the local government who doubles as the Transition Chairman of the local government, Hon. Yekeen Jayeola expressed his joy for the large turn out of the party faithfuls at the event, thereby urged them to campaign vigorously and tirelessly for the success of the party in the forth coming polls.
“The party’s success at the poll will be an affirmation of the performance of the party in the State led by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, and his unrelenting effort in building a better state of ours in togetherness”, he added.
The Chairmanship candidate of the party, Hon. Omobolaji Oluwaseun Odusanya in his remark thanked everyone for their supports from the beginning of the journey as he has seen the mandate as an opportunity to serve the good people of his local government diligently and give a proper representation by bringing the dividends of democracy closer to their door steps.
He also assured them never to betray the trust and confidence reposed in him by his people when he becomes the Executive Chairman of the local government.
“We are ready to serve you best, as the local government is meant to be the government of the people at the grassroot” ,he added.
Also present at the event were party leaders, elders, executives of the party at all levels(Ward,Local and State).
