CANCELLATION OF ONGOING STATE CAMPAIGN RALLIES

2nd February, 2023

The APC Progressives Governors’ Forum is not unaware of the sufferings of the general public as it relates to the inconveniences being experienced with the recent new naira notes introductions as well as the lingering fuel crisis which is pervading the nation. The Forum indeed sympathizes with all Nigerians on the untoward experiences in the recent times. The Forum is acquiesced that the introduction of the new naira notes, though a good policy, has not been effectively implemented by the relevant agencies charged with that responsibility.

In the light of the above, the Chairman of the State Campaign Council, His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, MFR has therefore directed that all campaign rallies earlier scheduled to hold are hereby cancelled with immediate effect. The Campaign Council will not hesitate to inform the general public on the resumption of campaign activities which is subject to the amicable resolution of the aforementioned issues.

Please be rest assured that the Progressive Governors Forum are working in hand-in- hand with His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR to ameliorate the sufferings of the people and find a lasting solution to the matter.

Once again, please accept the honest solidarity of His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, MFR as well as the assurances of his highest regards.

Yours Sincerely,

Apostle ‘Biodun Sanyaolu
