COVID-19: Alhaja Adeyemo Lauds Gov. Abiodun, Donates cash Relief for Obantoko Indigenes


In continuation of her good gesture towards the welfare of people of Obantoko ward in Odeda Local Government, Ogun state . Alhaja Folashade Adeyemo has supported the less privileged in Odeda Local government area of Ogun state with cash donations.

The distribution of cash to people across the 14 pooling unit in Obantoko, Odeda local government was done in order to assist many families in the Local Government to procure the foods items in their households.

She also commended the Ogun State Government for measures taken in containing the spread of Coronavirus Pandemic, including the recent ban of gathering of more than fifty (50) people.

In one of the beneficiaries,Madam Afuape’s remark,She said the donation was timely and would go a long way in assisting the less-privileged in the Odeda Local Government.

Alhaja Adeyemo implored the people of the Local government to adhere to the directives of state government on the closure of markets and the dusk-to-dawn curfew, saying the order was for their benefit.

He also urged them to always wash their hands with soap, use sanitisers and maintain social distancing, as parts of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
