Breaking: PDP Chieftain, 5000 Lado Supporters Dump Party for APC in Ogun

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ijebu North Local government of Ogun state, Hon. Tele Ogunjobi, and his supporters have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) barely 5 days to the 2023 general election.
Ogunjobi, who was received into the APC fold by Governor Dapo Abiodun at the Presidential lodge, attributed his decision to “the good and purpose-driven leadership” style of the governor.
According to the Tele Ogunjobi, “My decision to join the APC alongside with my supporters was to appreciate the Governor Dapo Abiodun’s people-oriented policies towards improving the wellbeing of the people in the state.”
Receiving the defectors into the APC fold, Governor Abiodun urged the decampees to be loyal to the party, as usual and promised them the dividend of democracy in the state.
The governor identified Tele Ogunjobi as an astute politician who can add value to the victory of the APC at both federal and state levels in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
Those who joined Ogunjobi are Chief Tola Agbeja, former pdp women Leader, Former Chairman, Ijebu east local government, Alhaji Agoro and many others important personalities in Ogun east senatorial district.
