Breaking: Ogun Gov, Deputy, Lawmakers-elect Get Certificates Of Return

Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun , his deputy, Engr. Moimot Salako-Oyedele, and the 24 State legislators-elect, on Thursday, received their certificates of return from the Independent National Electoral Commision (INEC) in Oke Mosan, the State capital.

INEC National Commissioner in charge of Ogun, Osun and Ondo States, Prof. Kunle Ajayi ,who presided over the ceremony, said the 2023 general elections will go down in history as one of the finest elections ever conducted in Nigeria, describing the exercise as peaceful, especially in Ogun State.

Governor Abiodun, who spoke shortly after receiving his Certificate of Return, said he will redouble efforts towards taking the people of the state from poverty to prosperity, maintaining that electioneering were over and it was time for the government to face the task of governance and building a state that will be the envy of all other states in Nigeria.
