Ogun First lady, Mrs. Abiodun Charges Christian Women as Home Builders for Development

First Lady of Ogun State, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun on Saturday charged Christian women to be good role models in their homes and the society at large.

This charge came from the wife of the governor of Ogun state, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun at the 2019 Annual Women Conference of the Women Wing of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Ogun state chapter held at the Deeper Life Bible Church Headquarters, Ifo, Ogun state.
Mrs. Abiodun advised the Christian women to be good examples to their children and be supportive of their families by being hardworking and industrious adding that they had impactful roles to play in the socio economic growth and development of families and the society.
She implored the women at the gathering to ponder on the theme ” Productive Woman” and engage in profitable activities that would produce good fruits and benefits to their families.
Earlier in her teaching, the wife of the Vice President of Nigeria, Pastor (Mrs), Dolapo Osinbajo admonished Christian women to always demonstrate virtue in all things and at all times noting that the Lord Jesus was expecting them to be good ambassadors of him.
She took her teaching from the book of Proverbs chapter 31 verses 10-31 stating the qualities of a virtuous woman as contained in the scripture and demanding the women to covet the qualities and imbibe them.
Mrs. Osinbajo also quoted from Galatians chapter 5 verses 22 and 23 highlighting the fruits of the spirit that christian women must bear and possess to positively impact their families and the world and urged them to pray for each of the nine fruits that include love, joy peace among others to manifest in them.
In his remark, the chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Ogun state chapter, Apostle David Otaru commended Mrs Bamidele Abiodun for her passion for the welfare of underprivilleged women and children in the society.
He particularly applauded her for the widows empowerment program recently held in the state which empowered over 1000 widows across the state.
