BREAKING: Court remands Ndume in prison over Maina

A Federal High Court has ordered Senator Ali Ndume to be remanded at Kuje at Kuje Correctional Centre for failing to produce the former Chairman of the defunct Pension Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina.
Recall that Mr Ndume is standing as surety for Mr Maina over alleged N2billion money laundering.
After getting bail, Mr Maina failed to appear in court for the continuation of his trial.
Giving the order on Monday, Justice Okon Abang held that having failed to produce Mr Maina, the senator should show cause why he should not forfeit his bail bond.
He, therefore, ordered that Mr Ndume should only be released if he meets either of three conditions.
Mr Ndume was immediately led away from the courtroom shortly after the judge’s pronouncement.
