One person was reportedly killed in a cult clash that took place in Sagamu, Ogun State tonight.
Newsacross.com learnt that two persons were also shot in the clash that caused panic among residents of the ancient town between Wednesday and Thursday.
The crisis which reportedly started in around Akarigbo road spread to other parts of Sagamu.
A resident of the town said rival cult members had engaged in a supremacy battle, shooting and chasing one another with dangerous weapons.
“At the end of the clash, one body was found,” the source who spoke on condition of anonymity told Newsacross.com
According to him, a young man, pupularly known as Majek was shot dead at the front of FCMB, Akarigbo road, Sagamu.
The incident caused tension in the area.
It was gathered that the body of the victim was evacuated by the police from Sagamu division..
