DACA Movement Celebrates Gov. Abiodun’s re-election victory, urges him to compensate loyalty

The atmosphere around the Car wash, Adatan in ABEOKUTA was once again with victorious songs coming from members of Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda {DACA} for the re-election celebration of the executive Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun his recent victory at the polls, through which he clinched his second term ticket as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC).

Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda – DACA is the leading Support Group in Ogun State that campaigned rigorously for the reelection of Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR as the Executive Governor of Ogun State.

Also, is a sociopolitical Group with over twenty- five thousand membership spread across the nooks and crannies of Ogun State with structures in the various polling units, wards, constituencies, LG, senatorial and state levels.

The group, in a congratulatory speech read by its state coordinator, Hon Segun Kaka, who won the house of Assembly seat for Ijebu North state constituency 2 described the victory of the governor in the March 18 poll as the best that could happen to Ogun.

Kaka added that despite the electoral fraud, pervasive vote buying and political gang-up, the governor emerged the winner due to his performance, especially in the area of infrastructural development in less than four years in office.

He noted that though the group threw his weight behind the re-election bid of the governor, it equally worked assiduously by embarking on a house-to-house campaign to ensure the victory of the governor for another term of four years.

He commended the Convener, Armstrong Tope Akintunde that he is not just a leader of leaders but the finest politician who had used his God-given wisdom and wealth to build humanity and advance the socio-economic fortune in Ogun state.

The group lauded Governor Abiodun for walking his talk in his first term by spreading developmental projects across the state, however, urged the governor to consider them for appointments in his second term, pointing out that the memmbers massively mobilized for his reelection.

While saying the DACA movement would continue to support the governor’s administration, the group’s Apex Leaders led by Pastor Micheal Fajimi advocated various empowerment programmes, particularly in the area of skills acquisition and vocational training for the members across the state.

They added that as a people’s governor, Governor Abiodun would continue to live in the hearts of the people, charging him to do more in his second term in office.

“With Governor Abiodun in the saddle till 2027, Ogun is poised for greatness and economic prosperity,” the group noted.

Leaders are the victory party are Dr. Salako , Kunle , DG Yayi Campaign council, Pastor Olawale Onaolapo, all the local government Co- ordinators, Deputy coordinator, Hon. Yusuf Kolawole, All the state Exco, Youth Leader and Women Leader of the group and many other notable leaders.
