Ogun GLOs Hail Abiodun’s Landslide Victory in Ogun East APC Senatorial Primary

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Governor Liaison Officers (GLO) have described the victory of Governor Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON, in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for Ogun East Senatorial District as a clear testament to his exemplary leadership and the unwavering confidence party stakeholders have in his vision.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the group’s Chairman, Hon. (Otunba) Tola Olutayo, said the governor’s emergence as the party’s flagbearer reflects his steadfast commitment to progressive ideals and the trust he has earned through years of dedicated, integrity-driven governance.

“Your sustained contributions to the growth and development of Ogun State continue to inspire many within and beyond the state,” Olutayo said, addressing the governor. “As you advance towards a broader platform of service to the nation, we are confident that your experience, wisdom, and passion for good governance will translate into quality representation and immense value for the people of Ogun East and Nigeria at large.”

The GLO, which comprises liaison officers from across the state, further noted that the primary outcome was a resounding endorsement of Abiodun’s purposeful leadership. The group prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and divine guidance for the governor as he moves toward the general election.

“This victory heralds greater accomplishments and impactful representation in your political journey,” the statement added.

Governor Abiodun is now expected to face other candidates in the forthcoming senatorial election, with political observers pointing to his grassroots appeal and governance record as key assets.
