Ogun Councillor, Joel Okeodebija Cancels 2026 Birthday Celebration to Honour Late Party Faithful
Sango Otta – Hon. Joel Okeodebija, the Councillor representing Sango Ward in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, has announced the cancellation of his 2026 birthday celebration as a mark of respect for the late Ajibabi Muyideen, a dedicated party coordinator and ally.
The annual community event, originally scheduled for March 26th, has been suspended to sympathise with the family and associates of the deceased.
Mr Ajibabi Muyideen served as the Coordinator of the APC e-membership registration in Sango Ward until his passing. He died on Sunday morning in what the councillor described as a shocking loss.
“With a heavy heart and deep sadness, I have humbly cancelled my 2026 birthday celebration to sympathise with the entire family and party faithful of my dear brother and committed ally, the late Ajibabi Muyideen,” Hon. Okeodebija stated.
The councillor extended prayers for the bereaved family and expressed gratitude to those who have shown support during the mourning period.
In a brief health advisory accompanying the announcement, he encouraged residents to adhere to basic health practices and engage in regular exercise.
