Transport Commitee discovers 50 unregistered motor parks in Ogun

The Ogun State Interim Committee on Transportation on Tuesday said the Commitee had discovered 50 unregistered private motor parks in Ogun Cental Senatorial district and Ogun West Senatorial district of Ogun State.

The committee revealed this while interacting with the officials of Parks and Garrages Development Board on Tuesday at MITROS Residence, Abeokuta.

The transport committee headed by the Chairman, Barr. Sunday Olufemi Adeniyi and the Secretary, Hon Tunji Akinosi updated the PAGADEB officials who denied the knowledge of additional private motor parks, apart from 54 registered ones in the State.

The committee said the special task force of the committee would soon embark on the visitation to Ado Odo Ota, Yewa North, Imeko afon, Yewa South and Ipokia to discover the unregistered private motor parks in Ogun West.

The committee later met with the management of Prizeberg LTD, the company in charge of Ogun State Bus mass Transit (BMT) in the State, to peruse and ascertain the financial transaction of the company.
